This a nice tea chest, but for the price, I was really shocked by the size. It is not worth the $50 it cost. I wouldn't send this as a gift again, it's worth half the price.
They LOVED it. It's always difficult to get someone an anniversary gift they can use. Well I received a call right after my dad and his wife opened this gift. I can tell when his wife likes something and when she LOVES something. $52 and free shipping - I think I might just have to get one for myself.
I bought this as a gift. The hinges are especially important so the top stays open, but doesn't flop backwards. It was much nicer than the Bentley's tea box I have. It has a higher quality wood finish, is heavier, and has better hinges. After about three months, the hinges on my Bentley's box were pretty much shot. I would buy the Bigelow box again.
I sent this as a gift. My BFF loved it, thought it was beautiful.
The wooden box is wonderful and well made. The teas are excellent too. A great gift for any tea lover.
